Admission
Admission to Eagle Valley Children’s Home is accomplished through an application and assessment process to certify the person’s need of, and ability to benefit from, active treatment.

Residential Program
The Residential Program provides individualized skill training in a caring and home-like environment.

Respite Program
This program provides support to families/caregivers of people with developmental disabilities through temporary, short-term care of the dependent person in the family’s home.

Eagle Valley Children’s Home was opened in 1946 at the north end of Carson City Nevada.

Tamara Thomas
Social Worker
Tamara Thomas, Social Worker, is primarily responsible for all aspects of client admissions, discharges, funding, community contacts, and direct social services to residential clients.
Dana Ingwerson
Program Coordinator/QIDP
Dana Ingwerson, Program Coordinator/QIDP, is responsible for integrating, coordinating and monitoring our clients’ active treatment programs. She also oversees our quality assurance and volunteer programs.
