All employees receive ongoing training in CPR, First Aid, and other issues of importance in the care of our clients. Job duties include assisting clients with toileting, self-care, meals, and training programs, as well as implementing behavior management protocols and participating in community outings with clients.

Employment Type: Part-time (20-29 hours/week)

Varied shifts-hours include nights and weekends. Great for students. This position provides an opportunity for valuable experience for individuals in CNA, Early Childhood, Nursing and Social Work programs, among others, and on-going training is provided.

Respite provides parent/primary caregivers temporary short-term care of the dependent person in the family’s home. Must be compassionate, energetic and dependable to care for individuals (children and adults) with developmental disabilities in the Carson/Reno/Sparks areas.

Must be willing to travel, usually within 60 miles of your home. Travel time is paid, and mileage is reimbursed.
