Members of Knights of Columbus Council 4781 in Carson City presented a check for $1123.44 to Donna Clark, Executive Director of Eagle Valley Children's Home, on Thursday, Dec. 16.
The Knights raised the money with donations from their Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities. Members of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic church gave the donation to support Eagle Valley Children's Home and Nevada Special Olympics.

Clarke said she plans to use the funds toward the purchase of a new recreational outdoor swing for their clients at the home.
