Since 1946, Eagle Valley Children’s Home has opened its doors and heart to children, adults, and families in the Reno-Carson region, offering them hope where before there was none, and possibility for the future. The mission of Eagle Valley Children’s Home is to provide the highest quality of services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through Residential and Respite Programs. Today, our home remains the only Intermediate Care Facility
(ICF) for people with disabilities in the great state of Nevada.

Our inaugural gala will bring together longtime supporters, community leaders, families, and friends to honor our past, celebrate our present, and invest in our future. Proceeds from the evening will support the preservation of our programs, the families we serve, our historic campus, and the broader community that extends far beyond our walls.

Guests will be treated to a one-of-a-kind chocolate and wine pairing experience from local chocolatiers and wineries, hearty hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction featuring local goods and experiences, and a live auction during the program. It will be a decadent evening of celebration.

But at its heart, this night is about impact. In-kind donations play a critical role by reducing event costs and allowing more funds to go directly to supporting programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities including in-home respite care, 24/7 care for the 18 residents at Eagle Valley Children’s Home, and enrichment programs and activities.
