Knights of Columbus donate to Carson City's Eagle Valley Children's Home
Members of Knights of Columbus Council 4781 in Carson City presented a check for $1123.44 to Donna Clark, Executive Director of Eagle Valley Children's Home, on Thursday, Dec. 16. The Knights raised the money with donations from their Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities. Some Improvements, Same Mission
Eagle Valley Children’s Home has changed since it was established in 1946 as the only institutional placement option in Nevada for babies and young children born with disabilities. An old ranch house and a couple of other frame structures on 210 acres northwest of Carson City was renovated again and again to accommodate the needs of the people who lived here until it finally became apparent that it was time to build new Residential and Service Buildings.
